Meet the President

Susan Carrico

Susan Carrico

Susan R. Carrico is a Certified Public Accountant and the President at PTG Accounting and Tax Consulting, a remote accounting firm specializing in small business accounting, income tax and payroll in Central and Southern Ohio offering services at our office or yours. Susan began her career in public accounting as a part-time staff accountant and worked her way up to tax manager until starting her own company in 2011. She has also taught part-time at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth Ohio where she earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting degree.

Professionally, she enjoys the challenge of identifying and solving problems, listening to the needs of business people and developing relationships with individuals and small businesses. She is an active member of the Ohio Society of CPA's and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She also serves on the local YMCA Board of Directors and volunteers with various non-profit organizations in her community.

Susan has gained extensive accounting experience through working with many small businesses throughout her career both in her public accounting role and corporate accounting. For small businesses, Susan has expertise in providing comprehensive accounting services, including individual, corporate, partnership and nonprofit income tax returns, prepared financial statements, payroll tax reports and consulting. In addition, Susan is a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.

Susan's passion as a CPA and a business owner is to promote small businesses, encourage the small business owners, develop accounting and communication skills, and to promote the firm as a group of talented and ethical professionals.
